Nature is my Homeland \u2013 creative activities (drawing, installation, graphics, intermedia activities) focused on the concept of an ancient homeland which is nature, based on cultural anthropology, art history, and natural sciences. During workshops, meetings and lectures, artists and scientists will analyze models of human contact with nature and their reflection in art. The search for analogies between historical and contemporary understanding of nature in Polish, Serbian, German and American culture will play an important role.<\/p>\r\n

The creators will reflect on important contemporary questions: Is nature transnational and do ethnic maps coincide with biotopes? Are the plants political? Can you outline inspirational parallels between processes? occurring in the plant world and society? What is the migration and colonization of living organisms in the context of urban development? Does Nature look at history indifferently? What is the imaginary of our culture in the context of the schematization of the perception of Nature? Can Art save the Earth?<\/p>\r\n

Project is holding international: WORKSHOPS\/SEMINARS with participations of specialists, artists, pedagogues i students from Krakow, Trier, Tuscaloosa, Belgrade,; EXHIBITIONS, SYMPOSIUM involving participants from Poland, Germany, Seria, United States of America and from other countries and PUBLISHED MONOGRAPHY.<\/p>\r\n

WORKSHOPS I<\/strong><\/a> in Podhale, led by invited artists for a group of students from all partner institutions, will take up the topic of the relationship of native folklore and high art at the turning points of history. Take a look at students works<\/a> after workshops. Result of the The Elements<\/em> WORKSHOPS II<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0WORKSHOPS III<\/a><\/strong> educators from Serbia and Poland will create two portfolios of original graphics, EXHIBITION I The Elements <\/em><\/strong><\/a> in both countries and a publication. A WORKSHOP IV<\/strong><\/a> Green Guerillaz City Activists of the 4th group of students from the Academy of Fine Arts and the Hochschule Trier and The University of Belgrade will be held in Krakow, inspired by the activities of green urban guerrilla activists. After workshops we will published catalogue of students works. EXHIBITION II<\/strong>, The Vistula is burning<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>which is a continuation of the Krakow educators\u2019 project The Degree of Unrecognition<\/em>, with the participation of Polish artists and students from partner universities, will take place in Krakow. After show we will published the catalogue of both shows. Also we decided to print catalogue of women art group show – GROUP 13<\/strong>, named TRASH\/DEATH<\/em><\/strong> 2020.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The project will sum up the FILM<\/strong> with Interviews <\/strong>of recognized specialists and artists and presentation of documentation of previous achievements at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The project includes film \u2013 INTERVIEWS<\/strong> with naturalists and artists, recognized specialists. It will be presented to the public and part of the interviews will be made available on the project website. Interview with:<\/p>\r\n

We are thankful to\u00a0Krzysztof Maniak<\/strong>\u00a0the author of performances, as well we are thankful to authors for sharing private photos of works and fragments of Diana Lelonek\u2019s films and Urszula Zaj\u0105czkowska\u2019s photographs and animations, and recordings by Marcin Kostrzy\u0144ski\u2019s hidden camera were made especially for our project. We would like to thank the naturalists and artists for lending us their works as well as the Krakow Film Klaster team for a beautifully recorded, directed and edited film. Thank you to Hobbit for the English translation of the interviews in the film!<\/p>\r\n

A website will also be created covering the course of the project. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

The culmination of the project will be PUBLICATION<\/strong> of an extensive, bilingual monograph and big size photos of all activities. One of our universities\u2019 priorities is the internationalization of teaching and research processes. Conducting an intensive exchange under the Erasmus + program, we need extended, long-term cooperation systems that would allow the consolidation of creative and teaching methods in a format that goes beyond the mobility dimension as such. For educators and students, the project means a chance to create and test new procedures and gain multifaceted experience. For our university, it is a chance to implement and promote internationalization as an important didactic tool and flow of artistic ideas.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n
